affairs.  RCG maintains a diverse client base ranging from Fortune 500 companies to niche
operations in the industries of gaming, entertainment, retail, transportation, engineering,
                                    health care, and technology.

For the past 40 years, Rogich has served as an advisor to leaders in all levels of government and industry throughout the United States and the world.  He has worked in a senior capacity for over 400 political campaigns ranging from local to presidential levels including the presidential campaigns of Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, as well as former presidential candidate, Senator John McCain as Co-Chair of his Ad Council.   He has served the Republican Party in numerous capacities, including as a former National Finance Chair for the Republican Governor's Association.

Rogich is a longtime Nevadan who moved to Las Vegas in 1954 with his family from his native Iceland.  Following graduation from Las Vegas High School, Rogich attended the University of Nevada, Reno where he served as Editor of the student newspaper the Sagebrush and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism in 1967.

From an early age, he was actively involved in Nevada politics, working on campaigns for several local, state and federal seats including Paul Laxalt's Governor's race in 1966 and his Senate campaign in 1974.  His involvement in Laxalt's political campaigns from the time he was a student at UNR, cemented a friendship between the two that would ultimately impact the direction of Rogich's career and his role in Presidential politics.

In 1973, Rogich founded R&R Advertising which mushroomed from its original four-man shop into one of the largest advertising and public relations agencies in the southwest, with over 140 employees and offices in Las Vegas, Reno and Salt Lake City.  Under Rogich's direction, the agency developed and created concepts that shifted the image of Las Vegas to an upscale dining and entertainment destination through advertising and media for both the Las Vegas Convention & Visitor's Authority and the Nevada State Tourism board.

As a life-long advocate of education, Rogich successfully facilitated the passage of several school bond initiatives to help build new schools and facilities that were needed as a result of Las Vegas' rapidly growing population in the early eighties. He served as a Regent for the University of Nevada system in 1989 and was later named an Emeritus Trustee for UNR.  By request of the University Regents, Rogich also played a role in the early stages of establishing the Nevada School of Law, now the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV, and the University of Nevada School of Medicine at UNR.

As a recognized leader in Nevada, Rogich was appointed by the late Governor Mike O'Callaghan in 1974 to the Nevada State Athletic Commission and was re-appointed several times by different governors, serving as the Chairman for much of his 12 years on the Commission.  During this time, Rogich was actively involved in the Las Vegas community earning numerous awards and honors for his philanthropic endeavors including being named Man of the Year by Opportunity Village, a charitable organization that he helped build into one of the nation's largest privately funded work training facilities for the disabled.   In addition, Rogich was one of the first recipients of the Las Vegas Community Achievement Award and in 1992, he was named "Distinguished Nevadan," one of the state's most prestigious honors.

Over the years, Rogich maintained his avid interest in politics, earning a reputation for developing strong messaging through memorable visuals and straightforward themes.  In 1984, President Ronald Reagan, a close friend of Senator Laxalt, asked Rogich to serve as one of three directors of his Tuesday Team, a group of advisors that was responsible for much of the President's media in his successful re-election effort which was based around the "Morning in America" campaign.  Rogich wrote and directed much of the advertising including an 18 minute film that was shown at the Republican National Convention in Dallas and was later turned into a 30-minute piece that ran on all three major networks and was the prelude to the "Morning Again in America" and its companion, "America is Back" ad campaign.  Rogich traveled with the President and First Lady from the White House to Camp David and on to the Western White House in Santa Barbara.  During filming he became close friends with then Vice President George H. W. Bush who subsequently asked him to be a part of his campaign for President.

During the 1988 Presidential Campaign, Rogich served as the Director of Advertising and Media for the newly elected President Bush (41) and later was asked to serve as Assistant to the President for the creative development of public events and new initiatives from 1989-1992. As a presidential media advisor, he directed the President's taping and filming sessions, assisted with speech preparation and delivery for Oval Office and State of the Union addresses, handled strategic planning and execution of the President's official visits and public events and traveled extensively with the President. At the request of President Bush, Rogich accompanied former Soviet Premier, Mikhail Gorbachev, on his nationwide tour of the United States.  By Presidential appointment, Rogich also served on the Board of Directors of the USO (United Service Organizations) using his creative experience and Las Vegas connections to help attract talent for their world tours and shows.

In 1992, Rogich was named Ambassador to his native Iceland, however, mid-way through the 1992 re-election campaign, Rogich was asked by the President to return to Washington to assist in the creative and strategic re-direction of his bid for re-election.

Following the 1992 campaign, Rogich returned to his home state of Nevada to begin private consulting and in 1995, he founded The Rogich Communications Group.

Since his return to Nevada, Rogich has been involved in a variety of business endeavors including the co-conceptualization of the New York-New York Hotel & Casino, several real estate development projects in and around Las Vegas, assisting corporate executives with strategic plans and business development projects throughout the United States and globally.  Rogich has worked in some capacity for many of the major gaming corporations and has been personally involved in the successful negotiation of disputes involving the largest labor unions in Nevada.

Rogich has also been appointed to chair a number of high-profile commissions and committees including the search committee for a new superintendant for the Clark County School District, the Advisory Committee on Boxer Health and Safety for the Nevada Athletic Commission and was appointed by Nevada Governor Jim Gibbons to be the Nevada Chair of the California-Nevada Tahoe Basin Fire Commission.  In 2008, Rogich served as Co-Chair of the USAID Subcommittee on Public Outreach as part of the Advisory Committee on Voluntary Foreign Aid.

In recognition of his continued devotion to education, in 1999, the Clark County School District named one of its Las Vegas middle schools after Rogich.

Rogich is currently Chairman of the Clark County Public Education Foundation, a position he has held since 1997; an Advisory Board member for the Reynolds School of Journalism and the Las Vegas Valley Water District; and a member of the Board of Directors for Opportunity Village, Keep Memory Alive, the foundation for the Lou Ruvo Brain Institute, Spring Valley Hospital, and Worlddoc, a national health management system company.

Rogich resides in Las Vegas, Nevada with his wife Lori and has five children, Britten, Erin, Jessica, Olivia and Sigmund, Jr.
